Deb journal: We spend the rest of the day separate, each lost in our own musings. Amoral little Skeeter says he wants to finish his video game before the world ends. I let him be. Skeeter: I'm coming for you, Twilight Princess! Deb journal: Azile is stoic, ready to follow Foil into hell itself. As if he expected to be heading there eventually. And Nick...poor Nick... He's the only one of us who asks out loud... Wirebound: Is this right? I mean, should we be doing this? Deb journal: I try to console him... Debbie: Nick, I...can't do big ethical questions. They're beyond me. Wirebound: Yeah, me too! Debbie: Well, we all have our limits. In times like this, I rely on the leadership of those I trust. You have to decide whether you trust your leaders. If not, then revolt. That's your right. And then you get to make the hard decisions yourself. Deb journal: ...but I suppose I'm not very inspirational. |
