Welcome to Chapter 9, Hank's Story. I almost cut this chapter out of the story, but in the end I decided it's too important. I almost changed its name -- Hank is obviously featured, but there's a lot going on with other people as well. In the end, I don't think I'm going to change it much at all from the original script. And that means -- and you should be warned -- that this chapter will earn the comic its 'R' rating. In other news -- Site Redesign! Let me know how you like the new layout. Among the cosmetic changes, I've added a place below for featured comics: Comics that I think you'd enjoy perusing. I'll be adding and rotating links there every so often. I've also added voting buttons for several online comic list sites. Now, I don't expect this comic to ever be 'popular', and I'm not going to vote whore or plead with you to click those buttons as often as possible. But the more votes it gets, the higher profile it becomes, and...well, as Foil would say, the more the story lives. The more readers the better, and adding vote buttons is a small thing I can do that could reap rewards. As usual all comments or questions, on the comic or just on the site design, are welcome on my LiveJournal. If I have any advice for you, it would be to take a cue from Hank and settle in for a bumpy ride... |

(unseen talker): Well...don't you look like two miles of bad road. Portal: Yeah. I've had a bad couple of days. Stupid bitch gets shot. They can't find who did it. Everybody's blaming me. Riots breaking out. Park Plaza's looking for a scapegoat. If it weren't for Grant, I'd already be in front of a grand jury. Things really suck for me right now. Hank: Aw. Well, I'm darn sorry to hear that. |
