All right. The exposition chapter is done! I have a few secrets I'm holding, but almost all of it is on the table. If you have still have any questions, come to my LiveJournal and ask 'em. I won't give out spoilers, but I'd be happy to clear up any remaining confusion in the story. And next...well, we're not jumping straight into the action, but action is on its way. I'm nervous about drawing it, but I think I'm up to the challenge. :) |

Foil: They're measuring the strength of coherent thoughts in the human population. Thoughts with intent, and power. Demons. These demons either become strong enough to cause events to happen...or they fail and fade away. Humans aren't predicting the future, they're creating it. But not in any way they can control.
Debbie: Hmmn, that could be an alternate interpretation.
Foil: Yes. And it's a reminder. Demons have to act, or they die. When your existence depends on people believing in you...there's no such thing as hiding or being quiet. The showier, the louder, the better. And that tells me what I should do next. Azile, it's time we got proactive.
Azile: I hear that.
Foil: Come on, Debbie, let's go home.
Debbie. Certainly...eh?
