Louis: I think this thing should be destroyed.
Skeeter: Oh, I get it -- he's the 'fun' one.
Debbie: Louis, he's just a child.
Louis: No. No, it's not a child. It's a psychic manifestation of unknown power and purpose. I mean, did you think he was human? He's not. Look at this.
Skeeter: Ow! My brain!
Louis: It doesn't have a brain. Or any internal organs, or even a skeleton. As far as I can tell, he's composed entirely of blood vessels and connective tissue. Don't ask me what his teeth are made out of.
Skeeter: Smiles!
Louis: It's irrational. It's inhuman. And on top of all that, it claims to have been created by a bloodsucking pest. This thing scares me, Debbie. It should be destroyed.
Skeeter: This man makes a compelling argument.
Debbie: I won't kill him without good reason, Louis. He stays.
Skeeter: Now there's a cogent retort.
Louis: You're making a mistake, Deb...
