Well, here's our first masked hero. 'The Zoophile'.
Hrmn.
I feel the need to point out some things. One, I'm not going for shock value -- this character is in here for a reason. You may have noticed I'm shying away from nudity and mature language. Not because I can't handle it (as people who have seen my furry porn will attest ;) ) but because I'm explicitly *not* trying to shock people, and I don't want distractions from the elements that are essential to the story. Cursewords and genitals are not essential to this story; this guy being a sexual deviant is.
On another note, this was the page that broke the camel's back. Nine panels (originally 12), a background, dynamic poses, several splashes of color, and nine characters to keep track of. This page took twice as long as other pages, causing the buffer to slip a day.
But I am *learning*.
I think I'll try to limit myself to around 6 panels per page. I'd like to put more in, to make the story go more quickly, but I am *determined* to update on a regular schedule. It's frustrating, because the script for the comic is written about 6 months out, and I want to get to it all. :) But I'll be patient. And maybe, just maybe, if I learn to draw up to 6 panels more quickly, then I'll be able to go to a three updates a week schedule. No promises. :)

Portal: What's the problem? Can't you morons handle a few deviants? Portal: Stop! Don't shoot -- Damnit, I'm a cop! Hank: Oh, I know who you are. You're detective Tim Portal, and you moonlight for a thing that calls itself Ulysses S. Grant. And you kidnapped my sister. But she's not the person you needed for your ritual. I am. I'm the Zoophile. You would have killed all those people for nothing. Portal: We had to try...had to try to save the world. Hank: You idiot. Some of these people you're after are the best thing this world's got going for it. Tricia: Hank! |
