Tricia: I'm a witch, Foil. I dabble in a lot of taboos. But I'm here as an animal lover. ...and that doesn't mean I'm a member of the Sierra Club. At midnight, this Azile robot will become my rapist. It's non-responsive now, though. Azile: No touching! Foil: Wow. That's...wow. Tricia: You seem awful shocked for someone who gets off on burning things. You're not a pyrophile, are you, Foil? Foil: ...No. I'm just doing what Lee told me to do. Tricia: Mmn-hmn. He's using you, you know. Lee is an avatar of Chaos. This ritual is Order's doing. It's how Order treats its enemies. Order is just as bloodthirsty as Chaos, they just have rules about who and when to kill. But more of these people are harmless. Some are guilty only of chronic masturbation...or of taboo fantasies more embarrassing than evil. Even the worst of the lot deserve incarceration, treatment...but not death. Not like this. Will you help us? Foil: What do you need me to do? Tricia: They'll want you to start the ritual by lighting a candle. I want you to light this one. I keep it for emergencies. |
